Despite over 35 years in the media arts and visual arts industry, Kim is still humbled to have the opportunity to make a living as an artist. With a strong belief in infinite creativity, Kim has created a breadth of cross-media visual work from Fortune 500 corporate branding to sports and entertainment marketing, and media arts education. In all her work, the common thread is story.

Kim was on the front lines of early digital media when she caught the attention of the National Basketball Association, Madison Square Garden, and Radio City Music Hall, and played an integral role in their transition to digital media design and branding. In the Silicon Valley 90’s tech boom, Kim journeyed west to accept E*Trade’s relocation offer to expand the brand story to nine countries. Kim was recently awarded with the Certificate of SpecialCongressional Recognition as an honoree of the 2022 Black Excellence Award for “Those Who Paved the Way” for OSA-[Oakland School for the Arts]. She was also honored at the 5th Annual Women in Communications and Technology (WCT) Awards in 2000 as one of “50 Women Who Make a Difference in Technology”, and is currently in position as a Creative Director at Oracle. Outside of the tech culture, she is principal and founder of 3rdicreative, independently consulting, curating, and strategizing brands for underserved fine artists.
