To see my entry, please copy and paste this link to my website, www.silkartcreations.net/indexVID.html where my 3 minute experimental video art entry is posted. 😉 ——Statement By The Artist——————- I (Jenwah) lived in Sausalito when the first silk dyes came over from France 35 years ago.
Purchasing the primary colors, and an 8 page booklet, I left for Argentina to make a Film on the “Misa Criolla.”  Living in the mountains of Cordoba in an old Stone Villa,   I painted in the ‘winter garden’ every day on an old silk parachute from Buenos Aires. My first Studio / Gallery was on the ocean in Paia, Maui with lots of gorgeous Pareos and Wall Pieces flowing steadily. Returning to the Mainland for the New Millenium,  I received a Master’s Degree with Matthew Fox/Naropa West Writing my Thesis on the Consummate Artist*  in each one of us, and creating a Community Ritual with Martin Brennan on
“The Caravan of the Beloved.” (Rumi) My Precious Sister, Rosemary began reprinting these original silks almost 20 years ago.
We researched, then borrowed the money from our other wonderful Mediating sister Martha, our “snotty nose” FUN brother Jerry, and Rosemary’s daughter, TV Anchor ‘wonder woman’ Nicole,  and dove in , purchasing a State-of-the-Art Printer. Some of the men in this new industry chuckled- knowing the challenges we faced and thinking we wouldn’t last- yet they weren’t aware of the Fire and Tenacity of our “Lineage” or our most Capable, Patient, and Dedicated Electrical Engineer "Whiz", Bill Wolf. You would be amazed to see the 100 “binders” Bill and Rosemary have assembled on every detail of our process, and the thousands of images in various configurations on our hard drives.  Rosemary sewed our first few hundred pieces on our Mama’s old “Bernina.” Her Home in Southern California became our reproduction headquarters and to this day, no one will ever comprehend the Gift she has given to bring our Family Together and make this endeavor of sisters a Success that would bring such JOY to our Loved Ones. These Silks Grace many Temples, Homes, Churches, Retreat Centers and Other Celebration Spaces in San Francisco, Los, Angeles, Santa Barbara, Ashland, Oregon and Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin Maui, and all over the world, creating Sanctuaries for wonderful Community Gatherings  of Prayer, Yoga, Music, Dancing, Laughter and LIFE!
While living in Wisconsin, Cellist Hans Christian and I named these Offerings, “Portals into Spirit,”and “The “Mááár..velous Theatre of Freedom” (Hafiz,) …Consecrated to The Great Ones Championing our Freedom and Full Creative Expression. Wisdom University, now UBIQUITY University invited me to be their Resident Artist at the Chartres Cathedral in France for the last 16 years Iin the Chartres Mystery Academy
Today, I am producing my more recent “Emergence” (Transformational Entertainment) piece,
which was always meant to be the Silk Carrier. Herein You will find clips of that piece: EVE’S APPLE REDEEMED, and there are many more to come, laying the groundwork for a Fully Staged/ Streamed Celebratory “Performance” Art Production. Thank You for Your Support and Appreciation for ALL ARTISTS and Uplifters of LI fF E  Blessings,
Jenwah
